Emelin Garcia Nieto, MD

Dr. Emelin Garcia Nieto grew up in Columbia, SC where she completed her undergraduate education. She attended Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. After realizing the harsh, snowy winters weren’t for her and that she wanted to be closer to family, she moved back to Atlanta to complete her residency training at Emory University/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is excited for the opportunity to practice in the area! Her special interests include mental health, breastfeeding medicine, and advocacy.

Dr. Garcia Nieto enjoys spending time outside with her husband, Alex, and beloved dog, Benji. They like to travel any chance they get, explore new restaurants, and spend quality time with family and friends.
