Dr. Renee Renfus joined Children's Medicine in July of 1999 after completing her pediatric residency at Emory University. Dr. Renfus' undergraduate and medical school education were at the University of Illinois. She has had experience at Egleston Children's Hospital (now part of CHOA) and Grady Memorial Hospital. She is a board member of Kid's Health First, a pediatric alliance working to improve healthcare quality and access for children in the Atlanta metro area. She is also a board certified member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr Renfus has a special interest in sports medicine, immunizations and keeping kids moving. She enjoys staying active, traveling and cooking. Originally from Chicago, she still cheers for the Bears and Cubs!
